Systems engineering is a multi-disciplinary field of engineering that focuses on methodologies and approaches for the development and management of complex technological systems. Such systems are typically comprised of several components and integrate specific knowledge from basic engineering fields such as electronics, mechanics, software, etc. Consequently, system development-related issues such as requirements management, system and process modeling, Integration, human-interface, reliability and process management and control become more difficult to handle.
 
The Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in Systems Engineering provides students with a system-wide, multi-disciplinary understanding and ability to engineer complex products, processes and services leveraging a methodological systems engineering approach. The program includes advanced courses that reflect the state-of–the-art knowledge in the field. The core courses provide understanding of theories and principles of systems engineering and technology management, and a set of tools for engineering managerial analysis and decision-making.
