ORT Braude College (OBC)

ORT Braude College (www.braude.ac.il) strives for excellence teaching and research in the fields of engineering and science. We achieve this by empowering the individuals in our community and by establishing strong ties with industry, academia and the community.

The 25-acre campus, situated on a hillside in the western district of the city of Karmiel, offers panoramic views of the Bet Hakerem Valley and the Galilean hills. This geographic location in the central Galilee was chosen in accordance with national and regional needs. OBC serves as an academic center for the region, makes higher education more accessible to those living in the north of the country, and contributes to the overall educational enrichment of the Galilee. The College also plays an important role in the development and prosperity of the Galilee and its communities in that it attracts a diverse range of students, many of whom choose to live in the north after graduation.

At OBC, our dedication to excellence and high academic standards provides our graduates with the education and skills necessary to meet their personal and professional goals in engineering and in science. Furthermore, by cultivating independent learning we prepare our students for their future as engineers in a rapidly changing technological world. At OBC we also invest substantial resources in training, improving teaching methods, and providing student support systems to create an environment that is both nurturing and challenging.

Our principal goal is to continue to develop the College as a leading academic institution. To this end, we remain committed to uncompromising academic excellence and to the cultivation of productive and rewarding educational experiences.
