WP4: Managing Internationalisation: IRO

International Relations Office   
The main goal of Work Package 4 is to train and build capacity of local IRO (International Relations Office) teams in partner Israeli colleges. EU partners will develop training workshops and professional development resources.

The intention of this Work Package is to assist colleagues in considering the adequacy and effectiveness of their international strategy, activities and operations at their institutions and, with the help of discussions with fellow participants and the trainer, to map out areas of improvement and potential further directions for development. This will occur through programme specific activities carried out in the period February 2014-February 2015.
  • Workshop 1 Sapir Academic College, Israel – 3-5 February, 2014: From planning to implementation
  • Workshop 2 Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy - 3-5 March, 2014: Institutional visit – organisation and implementation of internationalisation
  • Workshop 3 Warsaw University of Technology, Poland – 20-22 May, 2014: Institutional visit – organisation and implementation of internationalisation
  • Workshop 4 Pädagogische Hochschule Kärnten/Viktor Frankl Hochschule Austria 3-7 November, 2014: Institutional visit – organisation and implementation of internationalisation
  • Workshop 5 Max Stern Academic College of Emek Yezreel, Israel - 2-4 February, 2015: Monitoring progress in implementation
    Dr. Fiona Hunter, from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, leads the WP. The activities include: five workshops and publication of IRO toolkits/Professional development guides.
